I specialise in helping women over 50 get stronger, fitter and more confident in their bodies.
It’s not just about lifting weights or doing endless cardio – it’s about embracing a holistic approach to training. Training should be about function, form and most importantly, having fun!
Shall we get going?
Why train with me?
That’s me, Tora, in the white T-shirt. I’m originally from the UK and have made Sydney my home for the past 20 or so years. I’m a Level 3 Exercise Professional and CrossFit Trainer and health and fitness has always been core throughout my life.
My journey encompasses not only senior corporate roles but also athletic success in running and triathlons, with three appearances at the World Championships as an age-group triathlete. Nowadays, though, my primary focus is on staying in good health for as long as possible.
What sets me apart is that I practice what I preach. I understand the ever-changing nature of our bodies in midlife – shifting hormones, muscle mass, and recovery times. I adapt my own training to these changes, and that’s precisely what I bring to my personal training sessions.
What do I offer?
I firmly believe that training should be about three things: functional movements (movement patterns similar to everyday life), good technique (lowers injury and improves results) and consistent variation (keeps training enjoyable but also maintains progress). I offer a combination of:

Bronte Garage Gym
Gyms can be intimidating spaces. I’ve worked hard to create a space that feels welcoming, despite all the weight plates around! It’s a private garage gym so nobody else uses it but me. And I’m a neat freak so it’s always clean and tidy. Feel free to come and check it out.
